Our story
Where Italy meets Greece, in South Africa
Pizza Yiro started in 2019 with a single store in Somerset West, Cape Town, and one simple idea: take the best of two Mediterranean kitchens and serve them side by side.
Our pizzas are made fresh every day with organic, locally sourced produce and fired in a wood oven. Our yiros follow the traditional route: homemade pita baked in that same oven, tzatziki, tomato, red onion and chips, wrapped around your choice of meat or haloumi.
And because no meal is complete without something cold, we hand-spin more than thirty shakes. Cooking is an art. We just happen to paint with dough, fire and feta.
